It's no secret that the beer industry has been dominated by men for most of its history. However, the sudsy ceiling is slowly but surely being raised by a growing group of women making waves as brewers, marketers, and CEOs. As part owner of Pearl Street Brewery, one of Wisconsin's smaller craft breweries, Tami Plourde has defied expectations and helped to shape the evolving story of beer in Wisconsin. She will share her story and recognize the other women who are opening doors for a new generation. This event is brought to you by the Wisconsin Humanities Council.
