Crossroads Collective reaches out helping hand to Hooligan's after fire

You can read the full article from OnMilwaukee here

Last Friday, beloved East Side mainstay Hooligan's suffered a fire, the second notable restaurant fire this month after the cheel in Thiensville lost its restaurant due to a blaze on Nov. 8. Thankfully no one was hurt in the East Side incident, but the building's interior and exterior took significant damage according to reports. It's an awful break in what's already been a trying year for local businesses and restaurants battling the ongoing pandemic.

An East Side neighbor, however, is trying to lend a hand.

Crossroads Collective, Hooligans' food hall neighbor across Ivanhoe Place, announced a benefit this weekend to help support Hooligan's during this troubled time. Running Saturday and Sunday, half of the food hall's total sales (whether dine-in or takeout) across all of its vendors will go toward the fire-ravaged bar and restaurant's employees.

The food hall – including Frida, Heaven's Table, ThumMinaEgg & Flour, Scratch, Juana Taco Co. and The Pharmacy bar – will be open this weekend from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Saturday as well as 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday.

For more information on the benefit, check out the Facebook event page – and to order online or to check out the vendors' assorted menus, check out Crossroads Collective's website

So eat well and do good this weekend, Milwaukee.
