Two stalls remain available at Crossroads Collective as the food hall nears its opening.

The venue is a project by Tim Gokhman, director of New Land Enterprises in Milwaukee. Gokhman said this week that his team is “racing towards the finish line” as he prepares to soon announce an opening date.

As of early November, the tile is almost finished, floors are done and the countertops were due within a couple of weeks.

Crossroads Collective at 2238 N. Farwell Ave. in Milwaukee takes over a space previously occupied by Oriental Drugs and a Rosati’s.

Gokhman announced the first vendors for the space in October, which included Laughing Taco, Scratch Ice Cream and a soup and sandwich concept by the Tess team, which they named Frida.

Pedro’s South American Food was originally named with that group, but will no longer join the collective.

Heaven’s Table BBQ, Falafel Guys and The Beerline Café are also now booked as vendors. They check multiple boxes Gokhman wanted to include at Crossroads Collective: Mediterranean fare, crepes and food conducive to vegan and vegetarian diets.

“It’s very much coming together like we were hoping,” Gokhman said.

For the remaining spaces, he said he is hoping for salad or seafood. One stall will be used as a pop-up shop for vendors that want to try out a concept for a limited timeframe.

Gokhman said he expects Crossroads Collective to open between Nov. 30 and Dec. 7. He will first host soft openings that require an invitation before a grand opening event. The venue will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Gokhman said his team is also working on logistics to offer the space as an event venue.

Correction/Clarification

A previous version of this article named Pedro’s South American Food as one of the vendors joining the food hall. The restaurant was among the original vendors named for Crossroads Collective but is no longer one of the tenants.
