Live @ the Lot, a monthly live music series featuring local Milwaukee artists playing a range of tunes, debuts this Tuhesday from 6-8 P.M. at the East SIe Art Lot, 1915 E. North Avenue.
Catch your favorite Milwaukee musicians this summer at the newest outdoor venue in town: the East Side Art Lot. Once an underutilized parking lot, the space is now filled with local art in the form of painted tables, murals, and now music will add to its creative ambiance. On the last Thursday of every month June through September, Live @ the Lot brings you local music in a fun and inspiring atmosphere. A $10 ticket includes one drink (beer, wine, or seltzer), and a live performance from local musicians 6-8 P.M.
Custom-painted picnic tables are available for reserved seating for an additional $30, which includes a gift card to an area restaurant and a pair of Koss headphones. Reservations are required for the tables, as there are only 10 table spaces available. Otherwise, it is recommended that you BYOS (Bring Your Own Seat). Carry-ins are not allowed, and dancing will be highly encouraged.
Thursday, June 24th, kicks off the new event series with music from local band Malarkey. Made up of Milwaukee natives Danny Kerns and Becca Segal, this acoustic duo brings new energy to favorite covers, as well as unconventional tunes you wouldn’t typically hear covered anywhere else.
