The spring Gallery Night & Day is Friday night and Saturday, with dozens of galleries, museums and other art purveyors showing work by the widest array of artists, some of whom will be there to chat about them with you. (Bonus: There'll be stuff to nosh and imbibe and some stops, too.) Among the highlights is the outdoor gallery and party Friday from 7 to 11 p.m. at Black Cat Alley, the outdoor mural-fest in the east side alley between Kenilworth Place and Ivanhoe Place. A full list of participating locations, from Walker's Point to the Third Ward and East Town, is available at the Gallery Night website.

Blue Mound Road, on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Consider it an observance; the official World Penguin Day is April 25.) There are lots of children's penguin-themed activities, special zookeeper talks and even the chance to find paintings made by some of the zoo's penguins. (Bonus: The first 100 visitors wearing black and white clothing receive a plush penguin toy.) Admission is $16.25; $15.25 for seniors 60 and older; $13.25 for kids ages 3 to 12; and free for children 2 and younger. (Parking is $12.)

Milwaukee's East Side Business Improvement District is holding a fitness crawl — no, not a new type of workout involving crawl — Saturday starting at 11:30 a.m. at Adventure Rock, 2220 N. Commerce St. Like a bar crawl, participants go from stop to stop (walking or running), but instead of a drink, you're trying a new exercise at each spot. The six other stops include Shred415, Crossfit 414, East Side Pilates, East Side Family Chiropractic, Urban Om and Yoga Six. The crawl winds down at Good City Brewing, 2108 N. Farwell Ave. The fitness crawl costs $40.

5. Harmonize at Tenth Street (for the last time)

In Tandem Theatre says goodbye to Tenth Street Theatre with "The Fabulous Lipitones," a comedy-musical about a vocal quartet scrambling to replace a singer in time for a national competition. The show is the theater company's last at the theater, 628 N. 10th St., which In Tandem has called home since 2007. After a Thursday night preview, the show opens Friday for a run through May 19.

Forty-two years ago Saturday, Elvis Presley played his last concert in Milwaukee. This Saturday, with "Elvis Fest IX Rocks the Legends," the King returns — or more accurately, four top Elvis tribute artists take the stage at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel Milwaukee, 5311 S. Howell Ave. Tickets at the door are $25 and $35.
