The East Side BID is fortunate to have 3 access points to the Oak leaf Trail: 1) Off of Oakland Avenue by nearby Chubby Cheesesteaks and Senor Gorditos, 2) Off of Bartlett Avenue between McDonalds and Valvoline, and 3) near the Kenilworth Square Building, down the alley past Urban Outfitters and the UWM Peck School of the Arts Building.
Visitors to the Oak Leaf Trail can enjoy 135 miles of trail for cycling, roller blading, walking, birding and running around Milwaukee County. The trail system is mostly smooth asphalt, with dozens of easily accessed connections that take you just about anywhere in the Milwaukee metro area.
There’s no better way to experience Milwaukee than biking through the city, and stopping to see the sights along the way.
