Summer Soulstice 2026 Brings Music, Community, and Summer Energy to Milwaukee's East Side

On Saturday, June 13, thousands of people filled the streets of the East Side for another unforgettable Summer Soulstice Music Festival. The neighborhood came alive with live music, art, delicious food, shopping, and the kind of community energy that makes Summer Soulstice one of Milwaukee's favorite summer traditions.

I had the pleasure of meeting business owner Heidi Witz of Heidi Witz Design located at Farwell Avenue on Milwaukee’s East Side. Her boutique is full of art, jewelry, furniture, wonderful fabrics and her most recent designs including pieces for the future performances of Milwaukee musicians Klassik and Jay Anderson.

FRESHFIN POKE GRAND OPENING

FreshFin Poké is Milwaukee’s first Poké restaurant and will be hosting its Grand Opening Ceremony Saturday, January 28th at 11:00 AM. The ribbon cutting ceremony will be joined by FreshFin Poké partners and community leaders.
