Concrete barriers have been installed at the start and end of protected bicycle lanes on two bridges in Milwaukee.
They're on the Locust Street and North Avenue bridges that link the city's east side with Riverwest.
This is in response to flexible barriers that were installed in the spring of 2018.
The city of Milwaukee says the new barriers have been effective by causing more traffic to slow down, and more bike riders are using these bridges.
