Less than 48 hours after Milwaukee received a day-long deluge of snow slush, it's over 50 degrees outside, gorgeously sunny and also here's a summer festival announcement. Oh, spring in Milwaukee; never change.
Anyways, the Summer Soulstice Music Festival – celebrating its 19th year – today announced its lineup of local music hitting its three East Side stages during the upcoming 2019 edition, hosted on East North Avenue and Murray Avenue from noon until midnight on Saturday, June 22. This year's schedule features almost two dozen Brew City bands and musicians spread throughout the day – and here they are:
1 p.m. – Golden Grenades
2:30 p.m. – Luxi
4 p.m. – Nickel and Rose
5:30 p.m. – Surgeons In Heat
7 p.m. – Dana Coppa
8:30 p.m. – Listening Party
10 p.m. – Lex Allen
1 p.m. – Racing Pulses
2:30 p.m. – Telethon
4 p.m. – Brown's Crew
5:30 p.m. – For The Culture
7 p.m. – Higher Education Records
8:30 p.m. – Hot and Dirty Brass Band
10 p.m. – B~Free
1 p.m. – Benny P Trio
2:30 p.m. – Versio Curs
4 p.m. – Zach Pietrini
5:30 p.m. – Bryan Cherry
7 p.m. – Soulfoot Mombits

10 p.m. – Chicken Wire Empire
In addition to the day-long schedule of live music hitting the streets on Saturday, June 22, Summer Soulstice will feature a number of local arts and crafts vendors curated by The Waxwing, visual artists, fair food, creation stations, fun for kids of all ages and much more. Plus, the Summer Soulstice Music Festival is free of charge.
