Milwaukee, WI – Members of the public are invited to meet the artists of one of Milwaukee's most notable outdoor art galleries on Thursday, July 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Back Room at Colectivo on Prospect Ave.

Black Cat Alley is an original outdoor art gallery located in a private alley on the East Side between E Kenilworth Place and E Ivanhoe Place. Organizers say the Alley is one of Milwaukee's favorite destinations and is one of the top ten most photographed places in the city.

The event is free, and all are welcome and encouraged to join for all or part of the time.

It is the brainchild of Stacey Williams-Ng, a celebrated local mural artist and owner of Wallpapered City, and Tim Decker, a professor of animation at UWM's Peck School of the Arts, in coordination with other artists, and sponsored by the East Side BID. It now contains 21 murals by 24 artists from Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Columbus and Berlin.

Every visit is hosted by someone working in the arts industry with each venue having a 2-hour program for education, networking, and creative engagement. Social Club Gatherings are organized by Frank Juarez of Artdose Magazine.
