The Oriental Theatre Gains National Historic Registry Status

The East Side's Oriental Theatre, one of the nation's finest historic cinemas, has been added to the National Register of Historic Places.

The Oriental Theatre, a beloved landmark and one of the nation's finest historic cinemas, announced that it has been added to the National Register of Historic Places as of February 1, 2023.
