Beard MKE and The Waxwing have been supporting each other on North Ave as kindred retail shops who share the similar goal of supporting local art and creating space in the community where everyone is welcome. Together both shops support over 400 makers and artists, mostly in the local Milwaukee community. We really want to remain standing when the dust has settled and continue to support our crews, our families and our creative community as we all find our way through this (which we will!) Any and all support will help us cover operating expenses and keep this little dream of ours alive. Sending love and gratitude from the East Side!

The ones really being left behind here are the bartenders and servers. The people who rely completely on our cash tips cannot simply put their financial obligations on pause until it is deemed safe to resume unrestricted person-to-person interactions. Show your support by donating here.
East Side PIlaties has virtual classes for you! We have a variety of movement videos (unedited...bloopers included so you feel like we are right there with ya.) for you to do at home. We are also offering ZOOM private lessons. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more info.
Since we were forced to close our two taprooms (Hacienda North Ave in Milwaukee and our Baileys Harbor Music Hall), much of our bar staff is without work, and without pay. If you have the financial means to throw them a little support during these uncertain times, please do—this situation is especially difficult for service industry works that rely heavily on tips to make a living. Help out our bar staff by adding a tip to any online order. At the end of each week, we’ll distribute these tips amongst these employees (at both taprooms). Thank you.
Due to the closures of bars and restaurants in the Milwaukee area we have nearly 30 wonderful employees that are out of work for an unknown amount of time. The goal of this fundraiser is to raise whatever we can to help our staff out during this uncertain time. The money raised will be shared equally amongst our staff members. Thank you for your support and we look forward to taking care of you again when we are allowed to reopen!
We are having a fundraiser to help supplement the income of our employees (of the Jazz Estate, Bryant's, and At Random). Please consider giving $5 or more. We have some wonderful rewards, including some VIP tickets and even a couple bottles of Van Winkle Bourbon.
We are doing whatever we can to help our service industry family during this time, but your help can go a long way to help those who are struggling without regular patronage from our customers. If you are able, please consider donating to our relief campaign. Every cent will go directly to our bartenders and staff who have kept Landmark Lanes running smoothly year in and year out. We can't wait to open our doors again and continue serving you as we have for over 90 years. Until then, your generosity and support is immensely appreciated.

And that no one is going anywhere and we cannot wait to see all of you again! If you are able and willing, please support your favorite servers and bartenders while we all go through this time of uncertainty. Prost!
